Where Compliance Is Not Negotiable

The Ministry of Defence manages one of the largest property estates in the United Kingdom, and like every government department it operates under binding carbon reduction commitments. Solar across that estate is part of meeting them.

Working on defence sites is unlike commercial work. Personnel require clearance. Access is controlled and logged. Programme dates are fixed. Documentation standards are exacting, and the consequences of falling short are considerably more serious than a difficult conversation with a client.

On a defence site, the paperwork and the clearances are not bureaucracy around the job. They are part of the job.

We have been part of this programme since 2018, working alongside Kingspan, SSE and Rydon. That we continue to be instructed is the point worth noting — the MoD does not reappoint contractors casually.

Solar for Government & Public Buildings

Alongside the MoD estate we have delivered solar for the Snowdonia National Park Authority at its Penrhyndeudraeth headquarters — two very different public-sector clients with the same underlying requirement for compliance, documentation and demonstrable value.

Public bodies across Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham, Cheshire and Chester face the same pressures: reduce energy cost, cut carbon, and be able to evidence both. We are MCS certified, NICEIC approved and hold SafeContractor and ECA membership — the accreditations public-sector procurement asks for before it asks anything else.

Whatever your building type, we survey it, design for it and certify it. Talk to us about commercial solar panel installation, or browse the full solar portfolio.
